A separate pathway
Spiritual healing
Alongside her psychotherapy practice, Laura offers complementary and spiritual work. It is a separate service, and this page explains what that separation means in practice.
Why it is kept separate
Some people specifically want work of this kind, and Laura has trained in it over many years. Others want nothing to do with it. Both are entirely reasonable, and the practice is set up so that neither group gets the other’s service by accident.
In practice that means:
- It is booked separately from therapy, and it is not introduced into a therapy session unless you ask for it.
- It is described in its own language, on its own pages, with its scope stated rather than implied.
- It is not billed as psychotherapy, and it is not covered by health insurance.
- Choosing not to explore it has no bearing on the therapy you receive.
What it is not offered for
This work is not offered as a treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, or any diagnosed physical or mental health condition. If you are dealing with any of those, therapy or medical care is the appropriate route, and Laura will say so.

Questions are welcome
Including sceptical ones. If you want to know whether any of this is appropriate for you, ask — Laura will tell you what she offers and what she does not.

A couple of sentences is plenty. The detail belongs in a session, not a form.
