What happens to information you send through this website.
What is collected
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, an email address and/or phone number, your preference for how to be contacted, and your message. Nothing else is requested.
The form does not ask for a date of birth, a diagnosis, medication, insurance identifiers, or a history of what has happened to you, and you should not include them.
What it is used for
To reply to you, and to arrange a conversation if that is what you are asking for. It is not used for marketing and it is not sold. Beyond the practice, it reaches only the service providers who deliver and look after the message: the email delivery service that carries it, and the company that maintains this website, which receives a copy so that someone notices if inquiries stop arriving.
How it is handled
Your message is transmitted over an encrypted connection and sent on as an email to Laura’s mailbox, with a copy to the company that maintains this website. It is not stored on this website, not written into the website’s code, and not recorded in the website’s logs — the website keeps no copy of it at all.
The email itself is delivered by Mailgun, an email delivery service, which handles it in transit on the practice’s behalf. Being ordinary email, your message is not a confidential clinical record, and that is the reason the form asks for a short note rather than your history.
How long it is kept
Once it arrives, your inquiry sits in the practice’s email mailbox, and how long it stays there is governed by the practice’s own record-keeping rather than by this website. Inquiries are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a reasonable record of the contact, then deleted. You can ask for your inquiry to be deleted sooner by getting in touch.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Fonts are served from this website’s own domain rather than a third party, so viewing a page does not announce your visit to anyone else.
Your choices
You can ask what has been kept about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact details below.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. No system is perfectly secure, and email in particular is not a confidential medium — that is why the form asks for a short message rather than the full picture.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and the contact form should be completed by an adult.
