Accessibility statement
This website is built to be usable by as many people as possible, including with a keyboard alone or a screen reader.
The standard we aim for
The target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a published standard covering things like colour contrast, keyboard operability, text resizing and clear form labelling.
What has been done
- Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- A skip link is the first thing a keyboard user reaches.
- Text and interface colours were contrast-tested rather than assumed.
- Pages carry proper landmarks and one main heading each.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are listed in one place and linked to the field.
- Text reflows without a horizontal scrollbar down to a 320px screen and up to 400% zoom.
- Animation is reduced automatically if your device is set to prefer that.
- Interactive targets are sized for touch.
Known limitations
This statement will be updated as the site grows. If something on a page is unusable for you, that is a defect worth reporting — it is genuinely useful to hear about it.
